It is my goal to provide individuals, couples and families with incredible care and understanding that come with the many unique challenges we face within our community.
I have created my own distinct type of therapy, designed strategies and techniques, and developed fun exercises to help my clients reach their goals. My unique approach tends to be quicker than traditional therapy. We will work together to create an effective plan to achieve your goals, giving you the strategies you will need to problem solve in the future.
I feel that the original type of therapy people think of is not as effective or the best option for every client. Many people resist therapy thinking they will just be talking about their feelings or being asked "And how does that make you feel?" and therefore don't want to attend therapy. In this day and age we need a more practical and strategic approach so people don't have to be in therapy consistently for years unless this is their choice. That is where Playa Vista Therapy comes in with my Results Based Strategic Therapy™.

My fiancé and I were having some problems and I was really hoping pre-marital counseling would help us. My girlfriend and I had some major problems that we just couldn't resolve on our way to own. Thanks to Stephanie she was able to open our eyes, and now we could face our differences head on and know we will come to a conclusion. Stephanie is the universal counselor. I have no doubt she could help anyone with any struggle. My boyfriend and I were dealing with one of the toughest hurdles in a relationship, loss of trust. We were never great at communicating and were not open to therapy at the start. I agreed to try a session with Stephanie. I was NOT disappointed. After one hour with her help, I felt at ease with myself and hope for my relationship. She allows you to work together in the room and reach conclusions on your own and with her help. This was perfect for me, I don't like being talked at. She listens carefully, is patient and supportive.
